FamilyRally.com, a new social networking web site for family and friends, provides an online community where members can keep in touch, share pictures, videos, calendar events, news, contact info, and history.

Chicago, IL November 23, 2007 – FamilyRally.com, a new online social networking community, allows its members the ability to stay closer with their family and connect with other families.

As a social media web site, FamilyRally.com lets members interact and connect with family allowing members to share news, pictures, videos, stories, family contact information, upcoming events, history, and recipes with each other. Included, is a family community that allows members access to a list of family resources, and public forums.

“There are a lot of families out there that are just so far apart, it’s near impossible for them to stay in contact on a regular basis to let people know what goes on in their lives daily.”, said Dillon Raney, Founder and CEO of FamilyRally.com, “With FamilyRally.com, people don’t need to feel so separated from their family, especially those that are across the US or World. Our web site connects your family stories, photo’s, videos, history, and so much more with everyone in your family.”

FamilyRally.com offer’s more to their members than traditional social networking sites. With language filters, the ability to keep sensitive material away from minors, an easy to use interface of online tools, and the ability to sync your events and contact information with Microsoft Office, makes FamilyRally.com safe for children and extremely flexible.

“FamilyRally.com is different from other social networking web sites,” Raney said. “While friends have MySpace & students have facebook, families now have that with FamilyRally.com. Personally my mother can’t wait for Sunday’s when she can sit down, drink her coffee, and see what happened during our family’s week, see pictures of her granddaughter, and let us know what is going on in her neck of the woods. This web site has even brought family members I haven’t spoken too in a long time back into our lives.”

The social network is available at http://www.FamilyRally.com.

#1 Place for Family

I've decided, I want FamilyRally.com to be the number one family spot on the internet. I created this site in hopes to bring my family closer together and in this process, engineered an application that any family can use.

This is a FREE family website that allows families to share pictures, videos, news & stories, contact information, events and history with each other. This is also a place for parents and children to come and have access to family resources and forums so you can communicate with other families on any subject!

I've engineered so many features into this application, like the ability to merge your family with another. It's almost like making friends on myspace. All profanity is filtered and replaced with (explicitly deleted), at least all the words I have thought of. Minors cannot be contacted AT ALL unless you are a part of the family site! You can do news, pictures, videos, maps, events, calendars, forums, etc... You can also change the theme of the entire site of how either you view it or how your family views it. Pretty much go here to view all the features: http://www.familyrally.com/Tour.aspx

I'm also in the process of writing an application that does online video and voice calls to any family member in the world. You'll see the list of items on the development drawing board in the Tour page.

If you could add this tag to any of your posts, this will help to make FamilyRally the number one family spot on the internet! Search engines will pick this up and help to index the site better.
